'HECTOR' 1966 VW Splitscreen Deluxe
Hector1966 VW Splitscreen Deluxe at Rugby School

'Hector' is now over 50 years old and was born in 1966 in the Wolfsburg Factory in Germany.  His precise colour is Lotus White.  His early years were actually in the USA where he worked for a time as a taxi in New York!   He was eventually shipped over to the UK where he spent many a year camping and driving around and also tried a spot of drag racing at the famous Santa Pod race track...that experience didn't end too well and he ended up with a very burnt bottom!

We have had Hector now for over 10 years and most of his interior is still the original from when he left the factory in 1966.  We have made only minor adjustments to suit his new role.

'BARNEY' 1974 VW Bay Window Deluxe

'Barney' born in 1974 is just a baby really being only 46 years old.  His colour is Savannah Beige and Lotus White.  He is an original Microbus and has been restored to an exceptional standard, without losing any of his VW vintage charm.

He was lucky enough to be part of just one family since he left the factory back in the 1970s.   We  adopted him a few years ago and so are only his second owner in over 46 years, which is very special indeed.

Barney has two rows of bench seats that face each other so great for a calming chat and a giggle on the way.   He is just a real joy and a very comfortable ride being an automatic.  Mick really does like his rare VWs.
