'Hector' 1966 VW Splitscreen 13 Window Deluxe

'Hector' is now over 55 years old and was born in 1966 in the Wolfsburg Factory in Germany.  His precise colour is Lotus White with Alpine White bumpers.  His early years were actually in the USA where he worked for a time as a taxi in New York!   He was eventually shipped over to the UK where he spent many a year camping and driving around and also tried a spot of drag racing at the famous Santa Pod race track...that experience didn't end too well and he ended up with a very burnt bottom! 

We have had Hector now for over 13 years and most of his interior is still the original from when he left the factor in 1966.  We have made only minor adjustments to suit his new role as a VW Wedding Campervan.
